Strategic Planning
We firmly believe in preparation and planning - "Plan, Do, Review!" is our motto for everything from program implementation to operations. Every three years, the Board develops a new Strategic Plan, which includes goals and outcomes for the organization. This document serves as a roadmap for our Board and Staff. We are so committed to the plan that we have incorporated the goals into our office décor!

Discovering Diverse Workforce Solutions
This guide was created in 2016 as part of a grant project funded by the Southeastern Minnesota Initiative Foundation. It was developed in response to Project FINE's involvement with SE MN Together, a cooperative group working to address workforce shortages and
issues in an 11-county region across Southeastern Minnesota.
The guide includes findings from an employer survey conducted by Project FINE to discover the challenges related to hiring and retaining diverse employees. It also includes a county-by-county guide to community resources related to diversity.

Taste of International Cuisine Cookbook
In 2010, the Project FINE staff, board and friends compiled their recipes into a cookbook. Over the course of six months, we spent time cooking
and sharing our traditional cultural cuisine. The result is a beautiful
full-color cookbook with recipes from around the globe. Copies of the
book are available for purchase by contacting Project FINE or by
clicking the button below.
The recipes are delicious and easy to follow, allowing you to become a Bosnian baker or an Italian chef in the comfort of your own home!
One Community Many Stories
In August 2013, our Executive Director Fatima Said was honored with a Virginia McKnight Binger Award in Human Service. This award is given annually to Minnesotans who have demonstrated an exceptional personal commitment to helping others in their communities. The award came with a $10,000 prize, which Fatima donated to Project FINE to support the development of a traveling educational exhibit.
The One Community Many Stories exhibit celebrates the stories of refugees and immigrants who have come to call our community home. All of us have a story of coming to the United States, some recent and others passed down for generations. Sharing these stories is one way to build understanding and community. The exhibit includes information on community demographics, including how and why people come to the United States. It also explains the stages of life that newcomers pass through as they adjust to life in a new country; highlights the successes and contributions of refugees and immigrants in our area; and includes tips to help build an inclusive and welcoming community.
The exhibit consists of seven rollup banners, each measuring 33.5” x 78”. The exhibit also includes a video, which can be played on a computer or DVD player. The exhibit is available for display in businesses, organizations, educational institutions and other settings. For more information or to request the exhibit for your location, please contact Fatima Said.
