Welcome    Bienvenidos    Tos Txais    Dobro Došli

Project FINE is a nonprofit organization that has been serving Winona County and the surrounding area since 1990.  We serve as a connection point for refugees and immigrants, supporting individuals and families and building a stronger, more respectful community for all.

Our work is two-fold: we provide educational programming and services to help refugees and immigrants build a new life; and we provide opportunities for people to develop cross-cultural relationships and gain a greater understanding of the diversity in our community.

As of the 2020 Census, the only population increase in our community was among diverse individuals.  This growth is expected to continue, as will the challenges of cultural and language barriers that prevent newcomers from accessing services, gaining employment and building a new life in our region.

Project FINE offers a variety of services, including foreign language interpretation, referrals to existing services, and opportunities for interaction and education.
Our work is accomplished through a small staff, volunteers, interpreters, and extensive collaboration with local service providers.
