Position: Family & Youth Outreach Coordinator
***The FYOC is reporting to the Operations Manager
Requirement
- A bachelor degree in human services or related field
- 2 - 3 years of experience working with culturally diverse population
- Computer Skills (Microsoft Words, Excel, and Power Point)
- Experience in public relation
- Critical thinking and conflict resolution
- Grant Writing and Recruiting Skills
Main Job Responsibilities:
- Organizing and planning for a specific project or program
- Provide a tracking system to record daily or monthly events
- Provide support to the Administrative Staff
- Assist in program development
- Assist in grant writing
- Recruit participants for an event or project
- Responsible to communicate with all parties
- Assist in Cultural Diversity Training
- Perform other tasks as needed
Other Responsibilities:
- Answering phone calls
- Scheduling appointments
- Clerical work (filing, sorting, photo copying, mailing, labeling, etc…)
- Make sure everything is safe (unplug all electrical outlets) before going home at the end of the day
