Diversity Youth Quest July 2009 - August 2010 |

During the 2009-2010 program year, the Diversity Youth Quest program has had 108 unduplicated participants, and averages 39 participants per month.
Our 36 university mentors have spent over 500 hours with Diversity Youth Quest participants.

Project FINE has secured additional support from the Blue Cross and Blue Shield of MN Foundation's “Resilient Organizations Fund” to increase the capacity and partnerships of Diversity Youth Quest. |

In November, 64 students and 12 parents listened to a presentation on Drugs, Alcohol and Tobacco. Chuck MacLean, Winona County Attorney, used real criminal cases to illustrate the dangers of drugs and the affect they have on everyone involved. |

November 18 was our second annual Thanksgiving Dinner for participants, parents and university mentors. Everyone enjoyed great food and friendship, and the premier of the film “There’s No Place Like Home”, which was created by youth in the Diversity Youth Quest program. |
