Project FINE was selected as a participating charity for the 2011 Dancing With the Winona Stars event, held August 13, 2011 at Saint Mary's University.  We were asked to participate by Dr. Connie Gores, Vice President for Student Life and Development at Winona State University, who was one of the stars of the show.

Through this fundraising event, $1,184 was raised to support Project FINE's College Education Connection Scholarship Fund, which is designed to help students from immigrant and refugee families pursue post-secondary education.  For more information about the scholarship or to make a designated donation to the scholarship fund, please contact Fatima Said, Project FINE Executive Director, 507-452-4100.
